Vintage Sheet Dress
Today was twin day at Little Missy’s school so I sent her to school sporting this cute vintage sheet dress I made for both her and her friend. I just love the design of the vintage sheet I found for a dollar at goodwill. There are so many cute vintage fabrics out there and sheets have got to be the cheapest source of material!
This design is so Easy Peasy I think you’ll just love it. It took me a matter of minutes to whip these little dresses up and I thought I would write down the instructions here and show you (pdf). Included are some little tips that I’ve found to make sewing easier as well. I made one of these dresses in April for Little Missy, blogged about it, and loved it so much I thought I would do it again… this time with instructions and illustrations fresh out of my sketchbook.
It’s a super easy(much easier for me than spelling and writing out the pdf tutorial) and a ten step project that I think you’ll love. Plus it’s so versatile you can make shirts and dresses for both young and old. So break out your sewing machine, blow off the dust, and get sewing!
