Fusing trashion and fashion, Trashion promotes waste-reduction and consumption alternatives through thoughtful use of reuse materials, fashion, and design. Marion County decided to use this platform to talk about recycling changes and the importance of purchasing long-lasting clothing following Oregon Environmental Quality’s Materials Management research. I coordinated the event, a workshop, artists, photographer, guidelines, and details of the show, as well as all of the marketing.
