Want to learn more about mixing paint? How about a fun, creative experience in a lovely historic garden? I’ve teamed up with the awesome folks a the Lord and Schryver Conservancy to offer this exciting class at Gaiety Hollow.
Matisse in the Garden
May 19, 1-4pm
Gaiety Hollow is the perfect inspiring backdrop to create colorful, vibrant art… Matisse style. I will teach you basic color theory and mixing colors. We’ll then explore the garden to create your own Gaiety Garden palette. Then we’ll break for refreshments and take a garden tour. We’ll resume to cut out a lively bouquet of flowers to create a finished Matisse inspired collage.
- $30 includes art instruction, garden tour, materials, and light refreshments.
