Artsy Goodness Delivered to DIY Studio

Yesterday we had a bunch of artsy goodness delivered to our studio. Lovely bundles of twine wrapped journals, art kits, scarves, bags, hair clips, bookmarks and iphone cases were delivered by Juanita Browne of the Nature Walk and Barefoot Surf Boutique along with her family.

“Hi, my name is Juanita. I am an artist, a wife, and an unconventional mama to 3 adventurous kids, ages 9, 12, and 16. My family and I live a pretty simple life and work together in our home studio, nestled among the shore pines along the beautiful Oregon Coast.

We began our Barefoot Surf Boutique adventure with the simple hope of challenging and inspiring our children, ourselves, and others to use our imaginations to creatively reuse the materials already available around us to make a variety of simple and unique gifts. We happily realized very quickly that the possibilities are virtually endless!

And we just recently launched our second Etsy shop: The Nature Walk, featuring our brand new line of nature inspired, eco-friendly, handmade gifts, in hopes of sharing our love of art and nature as well as many more of our creative designs and gift ideas with you!

What started out, back then, as just a small seed/idea and a fun little Farmers Market Booth, has lovingly grown into a unique line of Eco Inspired Handmade Gifts… from Burlap Market Bags and Colorful T-Shirt Scarves & Purses to Burlap iPhone Cozies, Clutch Purses, Sling Bags and other unique accessories.”
DIY Studio is open Thursday – Saturday, noon to 6pm if you’d like to see Juanita’s work in person. Stop in and say hi while you are at it!
