Crazy Mac-in-dogs
If you have a weak stomach, you may want to avert your eyes.
Introducing the new culinary delight of Mac-in-dogs.
Spaghetti noodles look like they are actually growing into the hot dogs!
You too can make this crazy recipe with your kids this summer…just follow along with me.
Get out your ingredients:
- Kraft Macaroni and Cheese (because it’s the cheesiest, and that’s what Little Man likes)
- All beef hot dogs
- Spaghetti (put aside the noodles from the box and use it for something else)
- Butter
- Milk
- Peas
Skewer your spaghetti noodles into cut hot dog pieces.
Add to boiling water and cook till al dente.
Add butter, milk, and the contents of the cheese pouch. Stir and add in veggies if you’d like.

Thanks Beatrix! I love all of your sewing projects on your blog…so darn fun!
my goodness. that does turn a weak stomach but it’s a great idea for kids. i was raised thinking you had to put peas in your mac and cheese so that part looked normal.

We used this for Hayden’s cooking night two weeks back. It was a big hit. Thanks for the idea!
That’s great Danielle! I hope you are loving your new town. Are there lots of kids in the new neighborhood?
