Blue Cornbread

I bought some organic blue corn meal at the store and thought it would be great to make some cornbread with it. Now when I bought it I was thinking the color would be more vibrant like those delicious blue corn chips. But unfortunately, the color turned out more like a fleshy color. Oh well, I added some Parmesan cheese to the top and once it browned they looked much more appetizing. I then wrapped them in towels and added some of my handmade soldered ornaments. So my question to you is do you think they add food coloring to the blue cornmeal chips?
