U-pick Strawberry Time

Some scents and tastes scream spring. Strawberries are one of them. This week I received a new camera for the studio and a message from a friend announcing $1 lb u-pick strawberries at Green Bridge Gardens in Jefferson. Green Bridge Gardens is a quick drive from Salem and is home to the dollar pumpkin. The timing of the fresh berries couldn’t have been better, so I hopped in the car armed with my camera and metal bucket.

I did forget the tripod and it was a bit drippy but I wasn’t going to let that get me down. For nothing tastes better than handpicked berries from a local farm. If you too want a u-pick experience I suggest you visit Green Bridge as well.
