Tackle it Tuesday- Playful Things

flowersLife has gotten hectic. Between two school auctions and a carnival, the Honeybee Boutique Sale coming up, freelance work and volunteering, my head is just spinning. And I know I’m like most women out there- wanting the best of both worlds.

What keeps me sane is my very understanding husband, and my friends who have reached out. One very thoughtful friend gave me flowers, pictured above, friends have called and emailed to check in (even after I’ve neglected them) and another was kind enough to set up a drop and swap with our kids where we each take turns watching each other’s preschoolers for the day. It’s so very nice to have the support of loved ones and I am so very thankful to have such special people in my life.

The other thing that keeps me sane is creating playful things. Too often childhood games of adventure and creativity are exchanged for the hustle bustle of our adult life. To combat this, I enter into the world of make believe, just like dear Mr. Rodgers.

I wanted to share with you some of the fun little jewelry pieces that I’ve made that bring that fun and enjoyment back into a common day. I’ll add these playful rings and pendants to my etsy store soon, and they’ll also be featured at the Honeybee Boutique Sale. I invite you too, to enter the world of make believe and play once again!game points ring
