Sometimes you run across an idea that seems so magical that you want to tell everyone about it. This is one of those times. My husband and I introduced a Community Supported Arts&Culture project in Salem. Much like a Community Supported Agriculture program, this was a way to connect artists with supporters. Our goal was to sell 50 shares to art supporters and have a killer party to celebrate the work and artists.
I crafted all of the social media posts, built the website, wrote the press release, created artwork, took photos, and planned the party from providing food to making sure the pick up worked smoothly. We sold all of our shares and the hard work paid off with contributing $5000 to artists and distributing 300 to art supporters.
