Historic Taft District

This week has been so relaxing! Thanks to my friend Dana, who let my family stay in her condo in the Historic Taft District of Lincoln City, we’ve been hanging out at the beach this week. The condo sits on the SiletzBay. It’s the perfect place to watch for heron, read a good book while the kids play on the beach, and practice our fire making skills to roast marshmallows. It’s also a short walk to Mo’s Restaurant, the best place to warm your belly with creamy chowder. It amazes me how little Mo’s has changed through the years. Sure the tables are funky blue laminate, and the tacky beach trinkets adorn the large windowed walls, but it’s a Ramey family favorite. What also hasn’t changed is the very affordable comfort food. Love it!
